The Player's Codec Check
10. The Player's Codec Check
In addition to DVD, the HD-3510 box should also play various AVI and MPEG codecs without any problems. We wanted to know more about that and copied our test files, which we had already used with the AOpen MVP DVD player , to the installed hard disk. The following table shows that the most important codecs are supported by the HD-3510. Unfortunately, with Xvid only an error message appears, and the same goes for film files that were coded with Microsoft WMV9. Too bad :(
