Ergonomics on the touchy side
The Logitech AudioStation looks just like a stereo set, with the speakers on either side of the iPod dock. You navigate the menu displayed under the dock with a remote control. The display serves as a digital clock when it is not in use as a menu interface. Overall, the ergonomics of this device are fairly good. However, the touch-sensitive controls on the front of the unit leave something to be desired. They don’t always respond, which can be irksome.

A full range of functions
The AudioStation has numerous outputs and inputs, including composite video and S-Video, auxiliary and a connector for the FM/AM antenna. Yes, this model also has an FM/AM tuner, and the quality of the reception is good. As far as adjustments go, the range is a bit limited. The menus let you adjust only the brightness of the display and the bass and treble levels.

Satisfyingly good sound
The sound quality of this product really grabs you. The two 2.5-cm tweeters provide precise highs and two 10-cm woofers provide enveloping bass. With its 80 watts RMS power, the Logitech AudioStation puts out enough volume to fill a large room.
