The remote control could stand to have a more ergonomic design.


Variable voltage range of the power supply: the player can be operated at both 115 and 230 volts.


Audio and video ports on the back: the audio signals can be output digitally (optically and with a Cinch connector) or with an analog stereo signal. Video is available via SCART, S-Video and Cinch.

Idiot-proof: after it is turned on, clear menus take the user through the settings.

is there information available for some modifications on the DVD player...

for instance for the unused pins or maybe for analog audio connections?
