5. Medion P4225, the GPS for soccer fans
Medion presented nothing really new at CeBIT; instead, they launched a couple of special editions of existing products. The first is the GoPal P4225 Soccer edition, which just has special points of interest added to the usual set provided by Navteq. Soccer fans will find the stadiums where the European Football Cup 2008 matches will be played, mainly in Austria and Switzerland. Euro2008 attendees will also find travel guides, fan meeting points, sports bars and public viewing spaces. The GoPal P4225 Soccer edition will be available in time for EURO2008.

The MEDION GoPal E3215 Glamour Edition is nothing more than a white and pink version of an already launched product. It’s small-only 0.7” (1.7 cm) thick-has a 3.5" screen and a built-in TMC receiver. It should be available very soon.

Medion was showing a mockup of its new PND, belonging to the high end brand’s X-series. This new navigation system will use a large 4.8" (12.1 cm) screen. An integrated graphics accelerator will help in rendering 3D images and speeding up multimedia applications.
