Texas Instruments Lowers First-quarter Business Outlook

Texas Instruments (TI) has scaled back its first quarter revenue expectations from a range of $3.27 billion to $3.55 billion to a range of $3.21 billion and $3.35 billion. The mid-point of the updated range ($3.28 billion) is about 2.5% below the mid-point of the original guidance.
TI said that earnings per share will be between $0.41 and $0.45, compared with the previous range of $0.43 to $0.49.
