Raytracing: POV-Ray For Windows
The 2.0 GHz Dothan is about 22% faster than the fastest Banias when it comes to rendering. Here again Dothan offers a real speed advantage of about 5% maximum.
MP3 Encoding: Lame
In this test, a 178 MB WAV file is encoded to MP3 format using the MP3 encoder Lame in the DOS window. Here we measure the time needed by the processor for the encoding process.
