12. Sisoft Sandra 2002 Benchmarks: CPU, Multimedia And Memory

We performed the individual Sisoft Sandra 2002 benchmarks with various power schemes (Always On/ Portable Laptop/ Max Battery), and also while operating on the mains (AC) and running on battery power (DC).

Despite its lower clock rate, AMD's LV-Athlon XP-M was just ahead in this discipline. We also included the values of Sony's PCG-Z1SP for graphics, by way of comparison. The clock rate of the Pentium-M in this Centrino notebook is 1.5 GHz. With almost exactly the same clock rate, the Pentium-M had to throw in the towel.
