2. Finally Available: A DVD/ CD Player For DivX Videos

According to the package, the KiSS DP-450 plays just about everything: from conventional DVD-ROMs to audio CDs, home-burned CD/ CD-RWs to MP3 audio. Here's a highlight: even picture CDs can be shown, which means that pictures in JPEG format can be displayed on the TV screen. Thus, vacation pictures or snapshots of the company headquarters from a compilation CD can be seen on TV or with a projector. Of course, it goes without saying that the quality cannot be compared with that of a computer monitor or TFT display. After all, KiSS DP-450 can only work with PAL or NTSC resolution. In the first instance, that means 720 x 576 pixel. Theoretically, even resolutions of up to 1280 x 720 or 1920 x 1080 are possible via video-out. In any case, the built-in hardware supports this.
