First Person Tetris is Dizzying but Awesome
Boys and girls, take your travel sickness tablets.
It's been a long time since I played classic Tetris and today, the old girl came back to haunt me in the form of First Person Tetris.
I love Tetris and until now, I thought Tetris loved me. It was always so good to me. Growing up it never made me feel sick, dizzy, queasy, frustrated, made me think I was a big fat loser or gave me a headache. Those days are over.

Sure it all looks fairly innocent: Arrow keys to move, space bar to rotate, enter to drop. But good God, if I don't feel like puking after just 10 minutes. That's 10 minutes of not knocking off a single line, I might add.
If you're really confident, try it in nightmode.
Get it now before someone gets sued.

Hm, this looks innocent enouOH MY GOSH IT TURNS!!
I'd like to point out that this is a wierd rotation 3. person view and not first person...
yup
that just retard... make me feels in the twilight zone
score 1380 while eating... kinda need some cola to wash it down. Great fun though
So the point of this article is to tell us ur old and u suck at tetris?
old really is gold
This hurt my head.
I need to vomit and take a nap now.
Woah, that is friggin nuts.
that was sickening on my 28 in monitor. Probably wouldn't haven't been so bad on a smaller monitor.
Mommy, make it stop!
that was sickening on my 28 in monitor. Probably wouldn't haven't been so bad on a smaller monitor.
it is just as bad on a smaller monitor
I did not feel sick or anything, but those controls suck.
I love it! I cleared 12 lines first try.
I did it on a 32" 1080i TV at like 2 feet and wasnt nauseated in the slightest.
wasn't feeling good before, not any better now.
Awesome, it does make you dizzy! First score 2300
There is actually a first-person Tetris map for Counter-Strike Source. It is used on mg_fun map servers.
oh man! that hurts!
I think ive gone insane and i only played for 30 sec
Night mode, score 1960, not bad imo. Serious messes with the head though
First try I managed to get to the green level before I got tired of it, didn't bother looking at the points lol Its off a bit on the NES version it would get faster and faster until almost no human could keep up (I remember getting pretty good at it) Good times, and I still think the Nintendo version was better then the Tengen version lol
cleared 32 lines on first try (but was going down quick) and then it locked up...
Night mode is crazy. The normal one doesn't make me dizzy.
... Dunno what's wrong with you people. It's a little dizzying, but nauseating? Not in the slightest. Interesting little twist, makes it a tad harder than normal tetris. But it certainly doesn't make me sick.
wooohaaaaaaaaaaa................now I'm seeing stars..... :-s
after 3 blocks im done i'll stick with tic-tac-toe
wow, a bit sickening, nice, but not something i can play long
This is nothing new, I remember a first person Tetris game for the Amiga back in the '80s!
I didn't find it dizzying in the slightest...?
Got 1560 points then go bored... and just kept holding down (or left, rather). Tried nightmode and got like 1300 before losing. Only major annoyance for me going from day to night is that you lose the "next piece" box.
Also, that isn't first person, but a rotating 3rd person. First person would be from the perspective of the block... which would be crazy-hard.

Forgot to mention, it wasn't exactly like this, but it was still first person!
