The holiday rush is just around the corner, and though it might be tempting to ignore your gift list a bit longer, the smart move is to shop now. What better way to reward your hard-working student than with a powerful, versatile tablet that supports them now and in the future?
Samsung’s new Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+ are the perfect gift. They deliver helpful onboard AI, have the power to keep up with a student’s multitasking and include a long list of useful apps and accessories.
Here’s a deeper look at why the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series is such a great choice for students as we head into the holiday season.
The rundown
- Helpful AI onboard the Galaxy Tab S12 helps students focus, study and create, ultimately leaving more time for their passions and some much-needed socialization.
- The Galaxy Tab S12 has the battery life and performance to keep up with a busy student’s multitasking, while useful accessories make it easy to use the tablet anywhere in any configuration.
- Each Galaxy Tab S12 comes preloaded with powerful, useful apps, and the Galaxy Store is home to countless more that will help your student learn and develop.
Helpful AI gives students time back for what matters most
You always want your student to be equipped to handle whatever school and life throws their way. And while productivity and study are generally the focus, students need to have fun, too. With the Galaxy Tab S12 series, onboard AI helps with both sides of the equation.
Gemini Notebook is the one-stop drop for notes, images, documents, lecture recordings and more. Rather than a student parsing through each file manually, AI will summarize information and create focused study quizzes.
Samsung Notes includes Note Assist, an AI helper that summarizes info while you continue to jot down notes or ideas. It extends to the Samsung Browser as well, where you can use AI to summarize information across tabs, open or closed.
A Multi Window tool brings everything together on the Galaxy Tab S12 series' beautiful Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays. You can have your lecture playing in one corner, Samsung Notes collecting your thoughts in another and Samsung Browser actively researching topics you don’t quite understand, no window switching required.
Together, these tools are a great way to ensure your student spends less time on busywork when they should be studying for an exam or enjoying some well-deserved leisure time.
Top-notch performance ensures the Galaxy Tab S12 is always ready to create
Inspiration can strike anywhere, and students need a device that can keep up with busy scheduling and work on the fly. Strong mobile performance is just as important as efficient battery life.
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S12 series delivers on both counts. A new 3nm processor boasts 19% faster CPU performance, 17% improved GPU performance and 61% faster NPU processing for AI compared to the last-gen Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. It’s cooled by a new 3D Vapor Chamber that keeps the tablet’s performance steady even under a demanding load.
Students can tackle demanding tasks from practically anywhere, and the snappy performance ensures they aren’t wasting time waiting for pages to load or apps to finish thinking.
All that power wouldn’t mean much without strong battery life. Thankfully, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra gets 23 hours of battery life, and the Galaxy Tab S12+ gets 21 hours. Even the best batteries eventually run out, but the 45W charger (sold separately) can take your tablet from 0% to 100% in about 95 minutes — enough time for a hydration and snack break.
Another major piece of Samsung’s portable puzzle is the S Pen, included with each tablet. It’s comfortable and ergonomic, allowing students to take notes and sketch on the fly without hassle. Up to 1,600 nits of brightness keeps the Tab S12’s display clear and visible indoors and outdoors.
For students who prefer a laptop setup, the Galaxy Tab S12’s Pro Keyboard is the ultimate accessory, adding a rigid aluminum base, a comfortable keyboard and a touchpad, effectively transforming the tablet into a laptop.
Samsung’s Galaxy Store is full of apps to help students discover new skills
The Galaxy Store is home to countless apps made to inspire creativity, boost productivity and strengthen skills, and they’re all immediately available for download on the Galaxy Tab S12.
The Galaxy Tab S12 also includes up to $600 worth of software benefits, with several powerful apps preloaded. What’s better than receiving a gift that’s already full of software to test out?
For example, Adobe Photoshop is preloaded with a free four-month subscription. Notability gives students another place to collect ideas and notes, and users get six months free with 20% off the next subscription. Clip Studio Paint is perfect for creators and artists, and users get six months free and 20% off a subscription.
Finish your holiday shopping early and with confidence
If you’re looking to scratch one name off your holiday shopping list, the Galaxy Tab S12 is a perfect gift for students. They’ll benefit from the powerful onboard AI, efficient battery life, strong performance, and access to countless useful apps in the Galaxy Store.
