Hasbro Shows Off RealD 3D Transformers Helmet
Forget dorky 3D glasses covered in germs from the last finger-licking patron to maul them as they watched Tron: Legacy. Fans of the newest Transformers movie have got this bad-boy to look forward to:

That, my friends, is a Transformers mask/helmet/hat with RealD 3D glasses built in. Sure, Hasbro is charging $9.99 for it and it’s not immediately clear whether they’ll be available in cinemas or if you’ll have to bring them along with you, but what’s a little inconvenience for looking like the most die-hard fan in town?
They hit stores May 16, which gives Hasbro a six and a half weeks of sales ahead of the launch of the movie on July 1.

I feel sorry for the one sitting behind you wearing this "monster"
I'm glad they'll be selling them before hand,so we do not have to share dandruff or fungi infected specs just to watch this 3D movie...

Where I live, they give you your own pair for $1, even at the IMAX.
I'm so getting one to match my EL panel t-shirts! Yes, I did wear my EL panel t-shirts to the previous two.
Talk about geeking out! I wouldn't be caught dead with that on my head....unless the Transformers movie I'm watching is better the Transformers 2.
I just pissed myself with energon excitement
On one hand it's stupid, on the other it's awesome and I want one. So conflicted
And for the women...can we get a Megan Fox mask/helmet to go along with it?
What makes you think that women will find you less dorky in a Megan Fox mask than an Optimus Prime helmet?
heydian, please take your time on this...re-read my comment. I said, "And for the women..." I didn't say it was for the guys, although, i'm sure there are some that would showcase one.
Might as well plaster on a sticker that says,
"I LIVE IN MY PARENTS BASEMENT!"

If you are older than 18 and wearing this thing....lol.
I would wear one if my son did. We could be geeky together. Ahhh ...bonding ...
Get one for the whole family. Dog too.
CANINES!! ROLL OUT!!
So much spam !!!
As for the helmet ... people are already complaining that normal 3D specs make them look silly ...
This should only be acceptable for cosplay.
security wont allow them inside the hall.
FYI - theatres dont reuse glasses. They get recyled after use. So they are melted down and turned into some other use. Every time you get glasses, they are new in a sealed package.
