Prepaid PSN Cards Are A Secure Workaround

"We'll use prepaid cards instead of our credit card to purchase stuff [through PSN] now," she says. Most game retailers sell prepaid PSN cards that prompt you to enter a code for credit instead of entering in your credit or debit card information, and many PS3 users worried about future security breaches view them as a safe alternative to entering their financial information into the system.
