2020 Presidential Election results: Update Nov. 7
- Biden declared winner by multiple news outlets: CNN, The New York Times, NBC News and others have called the election for Biden over Trump after a projected win in Pennsylvania.
- Other states: Biden is also ahead in Nevada and Georgia. Currently Biden is ahead 273 to 213 in electoral votes.
- Senate: Republicans currently have 48 seats, while the Democrats have 48 seats.
- Trump campaign lawsuits: Trump's team is suing to stop the counting of ballots in Pennsylvania and has also filed suit in Georgia. A Michigan judge denied a request to halt the counting of ballots, and told the Trump campaign that all absentee ballots had already been tallied. The campaign is demanding more access to observe the tallying process.
