8. Excel Unsupported
The Office Web apps support so many of the features of the Office desktop apps that it’s a surprise when you find something that doesn’t work. If you look at a document with features that an Office Web app can’t display, you get a warning dialog and an infobar. What you’ll actually see in a document that warns you about possible display problems varies depending on the browser you’re using and the document itself. Here, we couldn’t view comments in the spreadsheet but the other information was available.

What if you don't have a New menu in your skydrive?
James, if you don't see the new New menu, you don't have access to the Office Web apps technical preview - it is a very limited, invitation only preview, but you might find it appears if you upload files to the Documents folder.
Bah, I have not used Office products for several years now and have not missed them one bit. This is not going to get me to try anytime soon.
