HTML5 is surging and looks to be the upcoming standard that'll slowly be creeping on Adobe's Flash. Rather than playing the opposition, Adobe has worked on a Flash-to-HTML5 converter.
This should please Apple to no end, as it has made it clear that Flash won't be a part of the iOS devices. Developers should be pleased too, as they can have their work hitting more platforms.
It's not a ready product yet, but Adobe did demo it. Here's a video of it in action:
