The PlayStation Plus Collection is for now one of Sony's PlayStation Plus perks, but has now been confirmed to be getting shut down on May 9, 2023.

That means that for the next few months, you'll still be able to download and play some hit PS4 games as part of your subscription fee. It's a lot like Xbox's Game Pass, except the Xbox version is far better established and certainly won't be leaving the Xbox Series X or PC any time soon.

The PS Plus Collection games, which we list below, will remain playable in your library after the May 9 closing date as long as you keep paying for PS Plus. You need only download them before the service shuts down.

PlayStation Plus Collection: The games

Here are the titles that are still available in the PS Plus Collection:

  • Batman: Arkham Knight
  • Battlefield 1
  • Bloodborne
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops III – Zombies Chronicles Edition
  • Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
  • Days Gone
  • Detroit: Become Human
  • Fallout 4
  • Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition
  • God of War
  • Infamous Second Son
  • Monster Hunter World
  • Mortal Kombat X
  • Ratchet and Clank
  • Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
  • The Last Guardian
  • The Last of Us Remastered
  • Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
  • Until Dawn

Glancing over these, you have a good selection of PS4 exclusives like God of War, The Last of Us Remastered and Bloodborne, as well as some of the biggest cross-platform titles of the previous generation, like Fallout 4 and Resident Evil 7. Sadly, one of TG's favorite titles, Persona 5, was removed after launch, and won't be part of your collection unless you got it before its departure.

This 19-strong list is a little short compared to the hundreds of games you get with Game Pass, but they are basically all stone-cold classic titles that are worth playing or at least adding to your library before May 9. Even after that date, Sony's continuing with its monthly free games for PS Plus subscribers, so you'll still get some great experiences as part of your subscription going forward.
