Everyone dreams of owning or at least driving a Ferrari. Now anyone can do the latter and experience ‘Formula One level’ fun at Ferrari World located in Abu Dhabi. Not only is Ferrari World the largest indoor amusement park in the world spanning an area of 930,000 sq. ft., it now even claims the title as having the world’s fastest roller coaster, the Formula Rossa, reaching speeds of 150 miles per hour.
Adrenaline junkies will need to don goggles in order to ride the Formula Rossa because it is really is that fast and well, there is that sand factor. Constructed using an aircraft-like hydraulic launch system, the Formula Rossa reaches a blistering top speed of 150mph within a mere 4.9 seconds. Think you can handle that kind of adrenaline rush?
Ferrari World, which officially opened on November 4, 2010, also hosts a myriad of other attractions. Among those, the G-Force ride will definitely get your heart pumping if you prefer getting launched up in the air to roughly the height of a 20 story building at 3.8Gs and then free-falling. And for those of you wishing your kid grows up wanting to become a Formula One racer, you can enroll them in the Junior Grand Prix, a Ferrari driving school where they learn from trained experts how to drive a scaled-down-to-kiddie-sized Ferrari F1TM racer.
Honestly, can you think of a better way to attract more tourism to your country?
