From designer Kim Mi Ran comes a proposal to pre-wind home appliance cords for the sake of the end-user. The "e-line" utilizes a unique winding pattern that turns the plug and mass of cord into a compact rectangle. Once the appliance leaves the box, the user is free to peel off as much slack as he needs.
The only problem? Once the cable's unwound, it cannot be reattached. The user has to literally tear the cable from itself to unfurl enough cord to reach the wall socket. In other words, the e-line is a one-way neatness trip.
