USB Bronze Bell Will Irritate Your Co-Workers

If you're an experienced DIY-er, then you can probably mate a bronze bell with a USB-based Arduino controller in your sleep. By default the setup will ring the attached bell every 30 minutes. It's possible to modify the programming to change the timing, or even control it through a software-based tool.

From a practicality point-of-view however, the USB bronze bell isn't exactly a must-have. You can easily find a bronze bell sound effect online and use it as your software-based alarm. People nearby will also feel an uncontrollable urge to kill you after the first several rings. Still, if you can't resist, check out the instructions through the link below for a detailed step-by-step.

Nothing gets you more help at the office like when your computer is making loud noises.
Computer: beep, beeeeep, beep, beeeeep, beep, beep
Random dude: hey, do you need some help with that?

    Happens ALL the time here.

A simpler way to annoy your co-workers: hide the toilet paper around lunch time and see how many manage to keep it in.

    Also this:

-Take a screenshot of co-workers desktop
    -Set as wallpaper
-Right click on desktop, go to "arrange icons by", then uncheck "show desktop icons". Also minimize the taskbar.
    -Wait for co-worker to return
-Watch co-worker panic frantically as clicking does nothing.

Scheduling a task to run that locks their computer every minute works well, too :) I also like ejecting their CD tray remotely.
