Purple is taking up to $100 off all sizes of its Original Purple mattress. In our Purple Original mattress review, we found it better at relieving pressure and more comfortable than typical foam mattresses or airbeds. (I own a Purple mattress and love how cushiony it feels. However, I would recommend opting for the Purple Plus, if you prefer a bed with more support). After discount, the twin costs $899 (was $999), whereas the queen costs $1,399 (was $1,499).

In our Purple Rejuvenate mattress review, we said the lofty 15-inch tall mattress delivered instant comfort and ergonomic support which we feel would suit people of average to heavier body weights. We also found that it offers superb pressure relief around the back, shoulders, and hips. Just know that there are cheaper options that are just as good. The mattress comes with a 10-year warranty and a 100-night trial, with free returns and free shipping. Complementary in-home setup is also an option if you require it. Released earlier this year, the Purple DreamLayer Pillow uses Purple's proprietary GelFlex Grid with MicroAir Foam to create a pillow that contours to your head/neck, but dissipates heat to keep you cool at night. It includes two removable booster layers so you can customize your pillow to be low, medium, or tall. In our DreamLayer Pillow hands-on, we said it's great at preventing heat build up and a solid recommendation when it's on sale.

If you like sleeping on your side, this pillow deal is definitely worth considering. In our Purple Harmony Pillow review, we said the premium, latex pillow offers support, without producing pressure on your head and neck. You can choose between three height options (low, medium, or tall) and we also like that it's hypoallergenic, which makes it ideal for those who suffer from allergies. The Standard is reduced to $179 (was $199), whereas the King is on sale for $215 (was $239).

Which Purple mattress should you buy?

Purple offers three different mattress in a box models: the Purple Mattress (from $599), the Purple Hybrid (from $1,149), and the Purple Hybrid Premier (from $1,699). These aren't memory foam mattresses: all three instead feature Purple's patented Purple Grid mattress tech - an innovative foam material that behaves more like a gel.

The Purple grid is designed to flex under your pressure points and adapt to support your body where it needs it the most. This grid layer is comprised of more than 2,800 open-air channels, so body heat dissipates and you don't feel too hot or too cold while you sleep.

The Purple NewDay Mattress is the company's latest bed. It's their entry-level mattress designed to offer Purple's proprietary GelFlex Grid at a more affordable price point (from $995).

The Purple Mattress is their cheapest mattress, yet it still comes with Purple's patented Purple Grid mattress tech. Under this 2-inch grid are two layers of high-density comfort foam.

The Purple Plus Mattress uses a new more breathable foam to help you sleep cooler. The new premium foam is also designed to react more quickly to your body's pressure and movement. So as soon as you turn over or wriggle into a new position, the mattress should respond to your body faster.

Most recently, Purple announced two new lines called the Restore and Rejuvenate mattresses. The Purple Restore is a hybrid mattress with enhanced pressure relief and up to 4x more cooling. The Purple Rejuvenate is the company's premier line with a quilted Euro top and enhanced comfort layers.

As a side note, Purple also holds a spot on our best dog bed guide. The Purple Pet Bed is a high-tech mattress for your furry friends. It's hypoallergenic, non-toxic, and vegan. It's backed by a 100-day free trial.

Superior cooling
Soft and firm
Customized comfort
Middling edge support

The Purple Plus is a luxurious mattress and a step up from the Purple Original. It features two extra inches of foam than its predecessor. Overall, it's rated a medium firmness, but Purple also promises an 'adaptive' feel — soft where you want a mattress to feel soft, and firmer where you need extra support.

The Purple Plus is also great at relieving pressure points, and all sleep positions were well-suited on this mattress. It feels soft and cradled under your head, neck, arms, and legs, but is firmer under the shoulders, hips and lumbar spine. In our testing, we rated it one of the best mattresses for back pain.
