Smartphones may have given us a level of connectivity and mobility unheard of, but it's not without its downsides. Take the iPhone, for instance. While it may be the standard bearer and a personal favorite for some, but expect to hold a dead piece of plastic after a few hours of browsing or playing Angry Birds.
Dutch designer Tjeerd Veenhoven has experienced this frustration so many times, he decided to come up with a solution that not only works, but doesn't need a power outlet. Hence, the iFan, an old PC fan kitbashed onto an iPhone dock. It works too, although you'd have to hope for a stiff breeze, or hold it out the window while driving, which kind of kills the eco-friendly potential.
Hey, at least you don't need to look for a power outlet.
