A tipster has sent the following two images to several websites and claims they are photos of the Tegra 2-powered Motorola Olympus. The dual-core phone does exist (Motorola confirmed it a few months back) but up until now very little was known about the device.
Thanks to these pictures, we now know that it looks quite similar to Motorola's DEFY. Engadget reports that the device will also feature Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi.
Availability of the Olympus is reportedly set for early 2011, and with 2.2.1 pegged as the OS, a sooner-rather-than-later launch seems plausible.
Those desperate to get their hands on bigger Tegra 2 devices will be pleased to learn that 2011 will be fraught with products boasting the chipset. Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang this month acknowledged how long his company has kept us waiting and promised some 'exquisite' Tegra 2 tablets for 2011.
