Designer Joao Goncalves has come up with an innovative way to get rid of steamy windows and humid air. Rather than the hot steam from our showers collecting onto the ceiling or the glass in the restroom, Goncalves has thought up a green way to turn that steam into reusable faucet water.
Created with a durable Corian sink, toilet and bathrub, Goncalves' 'Water Factory' concept features an electric powered filtration system that purifies the water using UV filtering as well as microfiltration. The washstand of the water factory is the piece that is designed to absorb all of the steam emitted by the bath and converts it into reusable clean water.
