EDITORS' NOTE: The Microsoft Lumia 640 XL beat the BlackBerry Passport with 55.5 percent of the vote. It will join the OnePlus One in the finals, which begin today (April 3). Voting starts at 10 a.m. ET.
The OnePlus One is already on its way to the final game, after beating the HTC One M9 this morning. You must decide against which phone it competes. It will either be the BlackBerry Passport or the Microsoft Lumia 640 XL. You have until Friday morning to make your selection. Go big or go home.
The BlackBerry Passport has had a pretty smooth ride to get to the semi-finals. It beat the Motorola Moto X before taking down the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to get here. It may be that the fans of the physical QWERTY keyboard are still holding out hope for a comeback, or the BlackBerry's unusual square shape. We did love that BlackBerry added the Android Appstore to the BlackBerry World app store, expanding users options, but the performance could have been better.
While the Microsoft Lumia 640 XL won its two previous match-ups against the Sony Xperia Z3v and the Sharp Aquos Crystal, both games were nail-biters. But a win is a win is a win, and for Windows Phone fans, this is the go-to device in this competition. The Lumia also sports a 1.2-GHz Snapdragon CPU and comes with a great 13-MP rear camera.
So will it be Windows Phone or BlackBerry? Which operating system, design, company and overall smartphone experience gets your vote? You have until 9 a.m. ET on Friday (April 3) to choose. Then the finals will begin.
