Balance your drone's propellers

One of the simplest things you can do to make sure that your drone flies perfectly is to balance its props. If the props are not balanced, the heavier blade will cause excessive vibration which will cause extra wear on your motor. It will also make taking any video almost impossible. Balancing your drone’s props is a fairly simple task. Here is how you can do it yourself.

Step 1:
Remove the propellers from your drone. You can push up on the propeller and pop off the C-clip. Then, you can take the prop off.

Step 2:
Next, you will need to find a place where you can place the propeller shaft completely horizontal. You may place it between a couple reams of paper, for example, or use a spindle if you have one.

Step 3:
Put the propeller on the shaft and spin it. If it is balanced, the blade will end up perfectly horizontal when done spinning.

Step 4:
Use repair tape and add it to the propellers until the blade ends up horizontal when you spin it.

Step 5:
Put the propellers back on to the drone. Place the shaft back in and then attach the prop to it. Make sure the propellers are attached nice and tight.

As a result of balancing the propellers, the drone should fly more smoothly. It will also hover more smoothly. This will reduce wear and tear on your motor and bearings and allow for the taking of perfectly clear video.
