Swann's First-Person Cam Can Take a Beating

Those first person POV provided by headcams brings you straight into the action like nothing else. Unfortunately, these helmet-mounted pinhole cameras are also subject to tremendous amounts of punishment, especially in full-contact and extreme sports. Why shouldn’t it get its own body armor then?

Given that its max resolution is a piddling 640x480, Swann’s Sportscam isn’t what you’d call top-of-the-line. Swann does make up for the ‘80s video technology by giving the Sportscam a shock-and-water proof plastic shell. So if you’re into more the more physical and extreme sports, or if your name happens to be Johnny Knoxville, then this little headcam is starting to look like a sound investment.
