You may have never heard of it, but the OnePlus 3 is the best phone for your money. This Android handset gives you a premium metal design, a colorful 5.5-inch AMOLED screen and zippy performance via a whopping 6GB of RAM. And it's only $399 unlocked.
That's why we gave it 9/10 in our OnePlus 3 review. But now comes word that Qualcomm is going to power a new device from OnePlus that should be even better.
A tweet from Qualcomm says that "something new from OnePlus is on the way...and it's powered by our Snapdragon 821 processor. Stay tuned."
The new model is rumored to be called the OnePlus 3T, and Android Central says it may offer not only a new processor but also an improved 20-megapixel imaging sensor from Sony with a f/1.7 aperture. That would allow for better low-light performance, which was one of the few complaints we had about the OnePlus 3.
As for the Snapdragon 821 itself, Qualcomm promises 10 percent faster processing performance and a 5 percent graphics boost, and it offers super-fast LTE connectivity along with enhanced virtual reality capabilities.
The rumored launch window is next week, so we'll soon find out what OnePlus' new flagship has in store. Let us know in the comments if you plan on picking one up.
