With more and more children staying indoors and playing video games rather than running around outside and exercising, there have been increasing concerns about children and obesity. As a response to these concerns, the Moosh Watch is a great concept that will encourage kids to become both physically active and socially interactive.
Designed by Martin Spurway, the Moosh Watch records data as the user partakes in daily activities such as playing in the park or interacting with other children. Measuring the type of activity, duration and also other users that are involved, the Moosh Watch uploads data to a social networking site where children will be able to earn badges based on the data collected and compare scores. Utilizing the inherently competitive nature of most children, the Moosh Watch is a great concept that builds social skills while keeping children active and healthy.
