Nexus 7 Dock Finally Arrivies in the Google Play Store

Google is this week celebrating the Google Play Store's first birthday. However, the company is also celebrating something else today: the arrival of the long awaited Nexus 7 dock in the Play Store.

The Nexus 7 dock was announced months ago and turned up at CES in January of this year. What's more, it has been available at third-party retailers for a couple of months (although it was a little tricky to track down). Despite all of this, it wasn't actually on sale through Google's own online shop, the Play Store, until this week. Engadget reports that the dock is now sitting pretty in the Play Store and is priced at $29.99.

Current ship time for the dock is one to two weeks, though that may go up if the dock proves particularly popular. The tablet dock features an audio jack and a rubberized base as well as micro USB support for easy charging. It weighs 280g and measures 220mm x 65mm x 30mm (LxWxH).
