Hulu+ and Crackle Coming to the PS Vita

Sony’s E3 press conference has just brought more good news to PS Vita owners. Just a few days ago, Sony confirmed that a YouTube app would be coming to the PS Vita.

Sony’s widening video streaming options for the PS Vita as the company’s making Crackle and Hulu Plus apps available for download on the PS Store. For now, Crackle and Hulu Plus will only be available for the U.S.

During this announcement, Sony’s also showed off other logos of streaming services like Vudu and Amazon Instant Video. While I’m not a fan of streaming videos on the small screen, the PS Vita’s battery life is good enough to make video-watching worth it while on-the-go and I hope that Sony widens the Vita’s video streaming selections.

  • @thillntn Sounds like you don't, so why are you talking? And why do you need the ipod? Unless you have 80 gigs of music (70 of which you never listen to), why do you need THAT bit of redundancy? Use your smart phone.

    Hi, Mr. Anonymous.
    1. I mentioned it, because this is too little too late from $ony (sorry if you are a fanboi).
    2. On the blogs, people type...so anyone hearing voices in their head may want to have that looked at.
3.The Ipod was a gift..however if you use Winamp you can sync your iphone and your android to have the same content...no need to kill your battery just to listen to tunes. And if you are out and about and left one at home, you still have your stuff.
4.I think you need to look up what a Ipod can do, it is no longer just a music player. Apps, videos, music(yes it still does that) are just some of the things it can be used for. If you plug it into a pc, it can be used as a storage drive. So it's a portable hdd. Same thing with a smartphone.
5.Do you still use a flip phone? All the stuff that the V$ta does other things already do(and then some) except for all the "exclusives" $ony blocks. Time to evolve a little it sounds, and not just $ony.

    Have a great day.

  • We like our flip phones because the phones we had before would dial 911 and the flip cover prevents that and we like a phone to TALK on.
