The Chelsea vs Everton live stream will see the home side look to continue building form after a pair of disappointing results at the start of the month, whereas Everton boss Rafa Benitez desperately needs a result to keep the club's increasingly frustrated fanbase onside.

Chelsea had a tricky start to December. The reigning European Champions lost 2-2 away to West Ham before a 3-3 draw in their final Champions League group game saw them finish runners up in the qualifying for the knockout rounds. Last weekend’s match against Leeds was almost another frustrating result until a 94th-minute Jorginho penalty ensured that the blues took home all three points.

Thomas Tuchel will be looking to build upon that result here, and a match against an Everton side facing a serious injury crisis could be just the tonic to quell any concerns. The good news is that influential midfield N’Golo Kane should be fit to play, while defender Trevoh Chalobah has shaken off a hamstring problem and is confirmed to feature.

Things are looking less rosy over at Everton. Manager Rafa Benitez is under extreme pressure from a fanbase that never really wanted his appointment in the first place. His plea for time to implement “necessary changes” will likely fall on deaf ears if the Toffees are humiliated in the capital.

Benitez will face something of a selection dilemma here, and not for the right reasons. Richarlison and Andros Townsend are the latest members of the Everton squad to be sidelined, with Lucas Digne also reported ill (although, he had been benched for the last two matches after a fallout with Benitez anyway). Midfielder Allen could return to boost the squad's morale, although captain Seamus Coleman’s bruised foot could keep him out.

All the signs are pointing towards a convincing Chelsea win, but anything can happen in football and Everton could cause a surprise upset. Want to find out how the Chelsea vs Everton live stream plays out? We'll show you how to watch it below.
