The Bear Original mattress is the brand's entry-level option. It retails for between $748 and $1,622, although you'll seldom ever pay full price thanks to regular sales. features three layers of memory foam and suits any sleep position. A hybrid version of the Bear Original exists, which adds a layer of 6-inch, individually-wrapped coils.
The Bear Pro mattress features more enhanced cooling tech than the Original and therefore costs more. It has an extra layer of copper foam and features a gel layer. If you're on the hunt for a cooling mattress but don't want to give up the hugging sensation of foam, you'll want to check this one out, although it's currently part of a closeout sale which suggests the brand may be phasing it out.
For extra edge support and a more traditional spring feel, the Bear Hybrid mattress offers a more "luxury hotel mattress feel". While it costs far more than Bear's full-foam options, it's roughly what you'd expect to pay for an upper-mid-range hybrid mattress. (A queen retails for $1,732 before discounts.)
The latest addition to the lineup is the Bear Elite Hybrid mattress. This is the brand's premium option, offering three varying levels of firmness, a cool-to-the-touch phase-change top cover and 5-zoned ergonomic support. Prices start at $1,721 for a twin before any coupons.

The Bear Original is a 10-inch, 3-layer foam mattress. It includes a base layer of supportive foam to prevent sagging and create a medium-firm finish, a layer of Bear Dynamic Foam to alleviate pressure and provide support, and a top layer of cooling gel-infused memory foam to help draw away heat.
In our Bear Original mattress review, we found it comfortable to sleep on regardless of whether we rested on our back, front or side. (But lighter individuals may need time to break it in as it's on the firmer side.) Despite the gel-infused foam layer and a breathable quilt cover, it's not particularly cooling. However, the Bear Original is aces when it comes to edge support and motion isolation.
This mattress comes in six sizes, from twin to Cal king, as well as a split king option. Like most mattresses, the Bear Original has not been immune to inflation-induced cost increases, but it's still rather affordable – especially considering its frequent sales. Right now, a queen is marked down to $699 (regularly $998.)
The Bear Pro mattress is ideal for providing pressure relief and a cool night's sleep. It's particularly good for athletes and side and back sleepers should benefit from its extra layer of comfort and support. Its copper foam layer works to diffuse heat in the night, and it's also an effective antimicrobial, so you don't have to worry about any nasties in your mattress. (But you'll still want to wrap it in a mattress protector.)
Available in twin to Cal king (plus a split king), this mattress retails from $1,364. However, a current closeout sale is knocking 50% off the MSRP, dropping the starting price to $682. Of course, this comes with a few caveats. You won't be able to return or exchange the mattress. It also comes with a 5-year warranty, as opposed to the lifetime warranty other Bear mattresses come with.
It's likely Bear is phasing this model out, hence the steep markdown. But their loss will be your gain if you want a serviceable all-foam cooling mattress at a remarkably low price.
The Bear Hybrid mattress is currently the brand's best-seller. Topped with cooling gel foam and a transitional layer for added support, this mattress also features an edge coil system, with individually encased springs for a classic coil feel. Underneath these coils lies a layer of supportive base foam to take the pressure off your bed frame.
Although all Bear mattresses feature some sort of cooling technology, the Bear Hybrid claims that its coils will transfer heat 28% better than memory foam to keep you cool through the night. It's also better on edge support thanks to its edge coil system, and it's Greenguard Gold Certified for having fewer harmful chemicals.
It's not the priciest of Bear's offerings, but it's close to the top of the list. A queen retails for $1,732 before discounts. If you're seeking something more supportive and cooling than foam alone, the Bear Hybrid could be what you need.
If you want Bear's most premium bed, here it is – the Bear Elite Hybrid. Released in 2022, the Elite Hybrid aims to provide superior cooling, top-tier edge support and excellent motion isolation so couples can sleep soundly. It's also the only one of Bear's mattresses to offer varying levels of firmness. You can choose from a soft, medium or firm feel.
This lofty 14-inch bed consists of six layers, ranging from copper-infused foam (for cooling) to dynamic transition foam (for pressure relief). There's also a layer of encased pocketed coils for balanced support, as well as reinforced edge coils so you can take up as much space as possible and still feel secure. On top is a phase-changing hand-quilted cushion cover that's cool to the touch.
Naturally, all of these enhanced features come at a cost, even when it's on sale. A queen Bear Elite Hybrid is currently discounted to $1,478. But if you're after the best bed Bear has to offer, it'll surely be worth the investment.
Do you need a Bear mattress promo code?
Most Bear mattress deals require a promo code, but they're not hard to find. Bear advertises its mattresses at the reduced price of whatever discount or deal it's running at the time, but you do still need to apply this promo code at checkout to get the best price.
