How to Right Click on Microsoft Surface's Touchscreen

The Microsoft Surface is a very versatile computer offering the features of both a tablet and a laptop. The device operates with a touchscreen like tablets do. You can also operate it as computer and use a mouse controller. With a mouse connected, you can easily right click to open up those properties. What if you do not have a mouse connected? Can you still access the right click feature? You can. Follow the directions below to see how.

1. With the Microsoft Surface on, you can touch the screen with your finger to click. You can open folders, apps, the Start menu, and more.
2. In order to right click, you must long press the screen. This means you will touch the screen and hold your finger on it until a box appears.
3. When the box appears, you can remove your finger. This accesses the right click menu.

The Surface has a number of different features just like most tablets. You can tap the screen, which is similar to clicking with a mouse. You are able to scroll, zoom, swipe, and more using a touchscreen. The Surface will allow users to achieve the same functionality as a right click with a mouse.
