would it run Far Cry 5?

Hi guys,
I have some older Asus laptop (I need a laptop for work) and I'm trying to run Far Cry 5 but on minimum, it has less than 30 fps. The game itself is a sh*t, by the way. Weapons choice is poor, you get mostly everything at the beginning, the upgrade is the same for almost all weapons... The list is long. But, anyway, I want to try it and I want to try it on the laptop.
I was thinking about this one https://www.personaldigital.com.au/microsoft-surface-laptop-i7-16gb-512gb-platinum.html, but that might be expensive to buy to play a game (and for my work as a graphic designer).

OR (this is basically my question) do you think I might be able to play it with this one https://www.personaldigital.com.au/hp-spectre-x360-8gb-notebook-laptop-silver.html ?
I have an external monitor which I would use.

And the question is not only for Far Cry 5, I will try to play all I couldn't play with my Asus. :) Witcher 3, Mafia III...etc.

Thanks!

Usually not. The graphics card is soldered into the laptop and can not be replaced. You can buy an external gpu enclosure, but they are expensive. Here is an article: https://www.pcworld.com/article/3178650/laptop-accessories/akitio-node-cabinet-review-real-affordable-graphics-for-your-laptop.html

You were better off with a "gaming" laptop, meaning one with a dedicated graphics card: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Notebookcheck-s-Top-10-Budget-Gaming-Laptops.262742.0.html
