8. Backing Up Step-by-Step: Part II

Before the backup starts, the wizard gives you a chance to review the parameters you've set and change them if necessary. The Advanced button lets you select a range of options including the type of backup you want to do, whether you want to verify the backup, use hardware compression where available, disable Volume Shadow Copy if it is turned on, append backups to passed backups in this set or overwrite past backups and, most importantly of all, schedule the backup to occur on a regular basis. A few of these advanced options are shown below.

The backup is under way.

When the backup finishes, the wizard lets you know. Click the Finish button to exit the wizard.
