7. Expandability
The device is in fact equipped with nearly everything you could want from an up-to-date notebook. If you need an Express card interface or even more connections you can attach an inexpensive Easy Dock port replicator to the back. We feel like a much less expensive, integrated Express card slot would have been a good thing for this device.

Here is where the port replicator hooks up.
A second battery with 42Wh capacity or an additional hard drive can be inserted into the optical drive bay. The extra battery increases operational time under office conditions up to about five and a half hours.

The DVD drive can be taken out in a few simple steps to make room for other optional equipment.
