18. Samsung PC Studio 3.0 (SGH-D600)
The Samsung SGH-D600's fabulous 240x320 high resolution display whets our appetite for more. With 76 MB of internal memory, native support for several office file formats as well as the tiny TransFlash card slot (MMC micro), any type of data synchronization or movement is possible using the SGH-D600. Samsung includes a USB cable, so you are able to start right away. If you prefer Bluetooth you need a Bluetooth USB stick or a computer with a built-in Bluetooth controller. The phone doesn't provide an infrared interface.

This is the Samsung PC Studio connection window. Depending on the phone and the computer used, you can choose between different ports.
Transferring a 4 MB audio file via Bluetooth took 1:51 minutes, which equals a fast 36 kB/s. This is not a new record, nevertheless it is three times as fast as the Motorola RAZR.
It was also delightful to see the phone accepting larger files without any problems. The Picsel Viewer even allowed us to view our MS Word, PowerPoint and Acrobat files with the SGH-D600. Most of the time you spend zooming or shifting, but all graphics and text is displayed well.
