For those holiday shoppers who prefer to use the wisdom of crowds when choosing what gifts to buy, Google has created a Holiday Shopping Page that shows lists of top Google searches in a few product categories. Search terms link to product listings within Google’s shopping-comparison engine. What tops Googlers’ lists? Gaming consoles, mp3 players, and Uggs boots. The page also has a “Special Offers” section with links to merchants offering discounts when users pay with Google Checkout.
