Regardless of shape, size, and level of protection, XtremeMac has you – and your iPad 2 – covered this holiday season. The company, which specializes is iDevice cases and accessories, has a wide-ranging line of cases, one of which is sure to meet your needs.
Starting with the smallest, the Micro Folio definitely takes a design queue or two from Apple’s own Smart Cover, but with a handy twist. While the Smart Cover is just that – a cover – the Micro Folio envelopes the entire iPad, front and back, for added protection. The front cover has micro suede on the inside to keep the display clean and scratch-free, while the sides and back are made from high-quality rubber that latches on easily and keeps your iPad 2 safe from minor bumps and bruises.
One step up is the Thin Folio, which trades in the soft rubber of the Micro for a more rigid frame wrapped in faux-carbon fiber plastic. The design allows for the iPad to be propped up in landscape at 45 or 75 degrees, which makes it the perfect case to be used on a desk or airplane tray. There are also several card/ID holders, for those of you who have your iPad at your side frequently enough to warrant such a feature. The level of protection is a slight step up, too, again protecting from scratches, bumps as well as short drops.
Last but not least is the Zip Folio, which has a thicker rigid frame wrapped in faux leather. There are no ID holders here, but the inside does have several pockets for notes, papers, and so on. The Zip has a very business class look to it, and would compliment any leather briefcase quite well. Protection is the word here, too, as the Zip will keep dirt, dust, food and water far away from your precious tablet (assuming it doesn’t fall in a pool or something).

Dear Santa,
All I want for christmas is those two hot babes =D
So, iStuff is the hot tech trend for stocking stuffers? Not for me. How about some more generic tech stuff, guys? 50% of the list is iStuff. Does Apple really dominate that large a percentage of the market?
g-thor: Yes, this guide is mostly "iStuff," but if you saw one of our previous 4 gift guides, you'd know that we covered gaming accessories, audio accessories and many other small items that would make for good gifts. Thanks!
