Pterodactyls were pretty cool beasts — they could fly, walk and sail around in the time of the dinosaurs. A multi-centered team of researchers is trying to channel the abilities of the ancient flying dinosaur to solve some very modern dilemmas. Their idea is to use the specifications of the flying beast, which lived 115 million years ago, to make airborne drones that are silent, small and able to shape-shift to squeeze through tight spaces. They are calling their robotic spy plane proposal the Pterodrone, and hopefully it will have a better outcome than its namesake.

To the best of my knowledge the pterodactyle was a reptile, not specifically a dinosaur.

"Pint-sized refrigerators can blast much more coolness that the conventional method"
You dont move 'cool energy' you remove heat.

Hmm, I wonder if the "red LED" used to study those wrinkles was your typical high-efficiency InGaAlP version.

Ahh so many items that I could care less about. Not that they aren't important, I just know I'll probably never hear about anyone of these ever again. :)
