4. Palm-Sized Video

Mrs. Claus enjoys watching her favorite movie, The Matrix, on the large screen DVX-POD.
Portable media players are usually plagued by poor resolution and the ability to play only a few video codecs, but the DVX-POD 7010 by Ama Technologies promises to change all of that. With its 6.5" screen and 720x480 resolution, you can finally enjoy decent quality video in the palms of your hands. And the DVD-POD can play nearly every video codec - even Divx and Quicktime.
The DVX-POD looks like a mutant iPOD, with the familiar off-white finish and white headphones. Its 20 GB drive will store hours of audio, video, or pictures. You can output video from the unit or record into it using the composite video connections (red, white, and yellow). Voice recording can be done simply by speaking into the integrated microphone.
The DVX-POD is currently available on the Ama Technologies website for $599. It comes with a white carrying case, microfiber cleaning cloth, headphones, USB2 cable and input/output cables.
