9. Step 4

I have inserted the Apricorn CD and restarted the PC. If you're using a notebook that can boot from a CD, insert the CD in the optical drive and restart the notebook. You will see the following screen on boot up.

The Apricorn OS is up and the company's Clone EZ Wizard is running. The Wizard leads you though the steps of cloning your notebook's hard disk to a new one. Excuse the poor images, screen captures aren't possible under Apricorn's OS, so I had to take photos of the monitor screen.

The old disk is analyzed.

You select the drive to be cloned, in this case the primary master, a Western Digital drive on IDE port 0.
