Here, you can get an idea how comprehensive this tool is. Click next if you've been a good Microsoft citizen and stored everything in the "right" place. If not click the box that allows you to set up a custom list of files. Do this only is you really know what you're doing. All those "settings" are stored in files too and you need to be sure to back them up, which is the default with the Wizard.

The long wait.

Done! The wizard created a tight little file that, in the event of an emergency, you can open using the Wizard on another computer, tell it you are on the "new" computer and restore that backup from the location you dropped it into. If I successfully get away with my disk replacement operation, then I can simply destroy that file.
