You will almost certainly see this dialog box if you've never used the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard before. Mystery #2: Why does the Wizard even need to punch through the firewall? Unblock and allow it to do its thing.

Choose Other, then click Browse and locate a shared network folder. As you can see here and as I pointed out earlier you could also be using an external USB or Firewire drive to make your backup.
