Tech For All Types: Holiday Gift Guide

9. Timbuk2 Snoop DSLR Messenger Bag

Timbuk2 Snoop DSLR Messenger Bag ($130-$150)

What’s the point of buying a shiny new DSLR and lenses if you aren’t going to give them a good home? Enter the Snoop DSLR bag from Timbuk2, which proves to be a great solution for carrying and storing your DSLR system.

Available in two sizes, the Snoop looks like the Commute 2.0 messenger bag we included in our 2009 holiday gift guide. On the outside, you get the same touch ballistic nylon and swirl logo, in your choice of colors, of course. The inside is a different story, however, as the main pocket is been compartmentalized for a DSLR body, several lenses, and a smattering of accessories. Not only can the Snoop handle your camera, but it still has room for a laptop, too (albeit a smaller one). The front also has see-through plastic pockets to keep your filters, memory cards and other small accessories organized and constantly in-sight.

Unless you’re traveling with an entire photo studio, the Snoop can easily handle whatever DSLR body and lenses you throw at it, all while keeping the rest of your equipment dry, organized and protected.
