1. BenQ JoyBee GP1 Projector
Give graduates a good send-off into the world of work, or just into one last summer vacation, with this mix of media and productivity-related gadgets.
BenQ JoyBee GP1 Projector, $499
Mobile. Media. Makeshift. Those are three words that describe the post-college (or grad-school) lifestyle. You know, as in couch-surfing between apartments, sharing YouTube videos, and figuring out how to get by with less than a lot of cash. That in-between phase of life is perfect for a small and affordable digital projector like BenQ’s GP1. It takes up almost no space in a messenger bag, plays all forms of digital media, and stands in for a very pricey big-screen TV. It can project an image up to 80" diagonal.
With dimensions of 5"x5"x2", the LED projector has a touch-sensitive control panel and internal speaker. It displays video at a resolution of 858x600, with the brightness of 100 lumens, and the depth of a 2000:1 contrast ratio. Regardless of the angle at which the GP1 faces the wall, it will try to self-correct to create a perfectly rectangle image (and it can compensate for various wall colors and materials). What can connect to the projector? Any device with a composite RCA video, VGA video, or USB connection (which includes PCs, DVD players, game consoles, etc.). There is also an iPhone dock connector available and a 3.5 mm audio jack. For the best picture, sit five feet from the image in pitch darkness, but a less-than-dark room and a farther distance will also create a good picture. A remote control is included. With a laptop and this movie-night machine, your graduate can kiss television goodbye.

A bit late. Everyone I know has graduated.
No high-school school or middle school years have ended, and no quarter-system universities have finished the semester yet. Semester system universities held graduation, mostly, last week. I don't think it is too late to be thinking about graduation gifts at all.

No, ur wrong, everyone I know graduated 5 years ago. Duh.
My graduation gift is $1000 rent with a tenant who will do her best to kick me out.
Can I has your gift instead?
Here are my thoughts.

On the AIO PC: It's nothing more than a laptop without a battery. Nothing can be upgraded. Consider getting a Laptop instead. On the plus side, it is stylish.
On the HP Printer (from personal experience): Every HP printer I've used have had horrible problems loading paper. Consider Lexmark or Canon.
On the Panasonic Camera: Nikon's Coolpix and Canon's Powershot can be found at similar prices and are (generally) better cameras.
I must admit though, the N10Jc looks pretty cool

Hey Quantumrand,
Thanks for you advice. What if I asked for you to find me a computere under $500 with a tiny footprint (no tower) and a bigger than 17-inch screen. Would you be able to do that? That's where I think the cheapie AIOs come into play.

Better as a wrist support pad. I have 3 PC's and I can only use this one 1 of the them. Really? I have to buy 3 separate Replicas for my PC's? In this economy? No thanks

There is a multi-PC version of the Seagate Replica, we just didn't review it: http://shop.seagate.com/store/sgat [...] .125882200
All I know is that the best gift buy would be great if I wasn't worried about other luxuries such as food, clothing, & shelter.
