Ive just loaded XP pro onto my PC and found that I can no longer use my CD-RW to burn or listen to view old images on cd/s burnt before on my millenium setup. Ive checked the HCL and it appears my matsushita CW-7586 isnt listed. Does anyone know how I resolve this?

Greetings --

Well, if the drive's manufacturer refuses to provide a device
driver to provide WinXP-compatibility, I don't see how you'll have any
choice but to replace the drive with a more modern one.

By simply typing in the Brand and model of your CD-RW into a Google search
window, I found not only a windows XP driver, but firmware updates as well.
Do you know how to use google?
