Hi everyone...
I need some xtra cash so i decided to work nites as a guard at some hi-tech office building. At my day job i work as a graphic designer/3d artist for a start-up gaming company. start-up = no money! - yet - i hope.
anyway, i was thinking of getting a laptop where i can do my work (graphics) while im at my other job (guarding).

I mainly work with Photoshop and 3d studio max.
Photoshop requires a fast hardrive more than anything.
3d studio max requires a graphic card for the actual work process and a good cpu for rendering scenes.

and i also build websites on the side as well - flash, dreamweaver, etc.

what laptop would be the best for me assuming i dont wanna go to overboard - as mentioned - i need xtra cash.

what i dont care about much -
ergonomics - i dont care if the thing is ugly and if the mouse and keyboard suck. I will use a desktop keyboard and mouse anyway.
I also dont care how much the thing weighs, ill carry 8pounds with a smile.
i would prefer as big a display as possible.
and an optional dvd-writer.

thank you.
