i want to use my pc as a video recorder, with output to tv, how do i do it?
from info gathered from the net it seems that i could use an ati radeon 64mb vivo, this would then make me use soundcard to output sound to my hifi, not a prob. my system is basic jetway mobo, 256mb ddr, amd duron processor 1gig, 40 gig ata100 hard drive, and standard soundcard, with dvd player.
any suggestions would be appreciated, but if anyone has done this b4 their experience would be invaluable,
ps my tv only has scart and composite inputs
pps what is the video qualtiy of such a setup?

An s-vidia in should be all you need + software to record it. Try the ATI Radeon ALL-IN-WONDER or the Visiontek Xtasy Everything cards for this purpose.

I use a Radeon LE TVO and never had problems with the TV-Out. Mine is a cheaper version of the Radeon DDR VIVO.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
