I just found an original sega wondermega, it is in great cosmetic shape,
but only came with the original sega r/f adapter. I no longer collect
consoles, so its for sale, but I wanted to test it first. I see that the
wondermega took a 9.5v/1.5a power adapter. Does anyone know if I can
instead use a more commonly found adapter from another sega system like
mega drive or cdx or something? I live in the US.

Instead of finding the power brick, I could also just sell it untested,
as-is. This wondermega appears to be the original gangster. NOT JVC. NOT
VICTOR. Original Japanase Sega release. Model HWM-5010. Serial number
1930. I have learned that only 5,000 of these were made?

I'm curious about substituting the power supply with another sega brick.
Or send me offers if you would like to buy this unit. I'm a reputable
internet video game dealer/trader who has been 'around' a long time!

I've seen plenty of people use the ac adapted from the model 2 Genny. The
difference between 9.5 volts and 10 volts is negligible. I've had not issues
with mine.
